‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Gets First Poster

That’s Interesting

If you’re not aware, Warner Bros. will be skipping out at San Diego Comic-Con this year. But that doesn’t mean we can’t get goodies. On Twitter, Patty Jenkins debuted Wonder Woman 1984‘s first character poster for the film. She also gave some hints about what to expect in December:

“By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year. We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full– But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait…”

This also comes exactly a year from their future release date of the film, June 5th, 2020. If marketing picks up steam in December of 2019, does that mean we should expect a full trailer as well? Maybe they’ll have a teaser trailer attached to Joker once it arrives in October? Only time will tell. But this new poster is very reminiscent of Wonder Woman’s Gold Winged armor she’s worn in the comics.

With the first poster giving the aesthetics of the ’80s, I can only imagine how colorful this film might be. What about you? Are you excited for Wonder Woman 1984? Let us know in the comments below.
