Everyone is intrigued to see what Marvel comes up with for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman has changed the trajectory of how the sequel was initially intended to play out. In respect to Boseman, Marvel decided against recasting the role of T’Challa for future movies, so it’s left fans wondering how the studio moves forward without the films main star.

A new report from The Illuminderdi has claimed that Namor the Sub-Mariner will surface in the sequel. Tenoch Huerta (Narcos: Mexico), who was cast months ago is said to playing the role.

There’s always been rumours floating around that the character would eventually appear somewhere down the line. Could the Black Panther sequel see a war between Wakandans and the Atlanteans?

As always with rumours, take them with a grain of salt until official confirmation.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will release July 8, 2022.
