HBO Max’s ‘Green Lantern’ Series Cast Jeremy Irvine as Alan Scott

Published

on

Jeremy Irvine (Treadstone) is in talks to join Finn Wittrock in HBO Max’s new Green Lantern series.

Irvine would portray Alan Scott/Green Lantern alongside Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, played by Wittrock.

It’s being reported that unlike Wittrock’s stint as Guy Gardner, Irvine’s proposed
deal is said to be a one-year arrangement. Indicating his character may not make it out of the first season alive.

Produced Berlanti Productions. The series is written by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Seth Grahame-Smith.

Green Lantern will follow a story spanning decades and galaxies, beginning on Earth in 1941 with the very first Green Lantern, secretly gay FBI agent Alan Scott, and 1984, with cocky alpha male Guy Gardner (Wittrock) and half-alien Bree Jarta. They’ll be joined by a multitude of other Lanterns — from comic book favourites to never-before-seen heroes.
