It what feels like YEARS, we can finally confirm Tom Holkenborg, AKA Junkie XL, will be composing an original score for Zack Snyder’s Army Of The Dead. And looking back on things, it makes perfect sense. I wrote about the new Era of Cinema back in January 2019 when we first learned Zack would be going to Netflix. But even within that article, I predicted that Zack would use him for scoring his new film. It just fits with Zack’s aesthetic.
So, today, Tom solidified that prophecy (or inside information) that he would be the composer on a Reddit AMA. What this means is Tom is currently in talks with Zack and can be for the next 5 months. And we already know that his Justice League Score is complete. Maybe they can get the chance to Matte the score to film in prep for HBOMax? Because if we’ve known this small detail for a while, what else have they been keeping secret from us? Only time will tell. Are you excited about this news? Let us know in the comments section below.
