Fresh off the Falcon and the Winter Soldier series finale, it has been announced that Marvel are developing a fourth Captain America film.

Showrunner and head writer behind Falcon and the Winter Soldier Malcolm Spellman is co-writing the script with Dalan Musson, a staff writer on the series.

No director is attached and no plot details have been revealed, but expect the film to follow the adventures of Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan).

Back in January, a report claimed Chris Evans, who portrayed Captain America in the MCU before handing over his shield to Sam was in line for a return, but Evans himself debunked the report. But it will be interesting to see if he does come back in some capacity.

Since binging series became the new normal, I’ve struggled to watch a series an episode at a time. I’ve said this before, but Netflix has genuinely ruined me. With all six episodes now available, I plan to watch the show this weekend, and I’m genuinely buzzing with excitement to see the story unfold.
