BREAKING: Zoe Kravitz Tapped To Play Catwoman In ‘The Batman’

It’s Official

Matt Reeves has found his Catwoman, and she told us almost exactly one month ago on Instagram. I’m kidding, of course, because she actually already played the character in 2017 for The Lego Batman Movie. However, she did post an image of her wearing a Retro-style Batman Logo T-shirt so, we should have known then. Zoe Kravitz will join the ranks of Michelle Pfeiffer and Anne Hathaway who embodied the character already, film-wise.

She’ll be opposite Robert Pattinson and Jeffrey Wright as Batman and Commissioner Gordan, respectively. We also know that Jonah Hill will be playing an unknown character at the moment as well. Then you add VFX Supervisor Dan Lemmon joining Matt Reeves and things get very interesting. With The Batman ramping up pre-production and gearing for a start date of early 2020, we should be hearing more confirmed roles being filled. Stay tuned for more details as they come in.

The Batman hits theaters on June 25th, 2021.
