BOND 25: BILLIE EILISH To Sing Theme For ‘No Time To Die’; HANS ZIMMER Confirmed As Composer

Two important updates for the upcoming Bond 25 “No Time To Die“.

In quick succession, this week has seen the official announcement of the new composer for the movie, and the reveal of the singer of the title song.

Music legend Hans Zimmer has been confirmed as composer for Bond’s latest adventure. Zimmer, internationally known for his diverse range of powerful soundtracks for a wide variety of genres is no stranger to the thrillers with music for films such as Christopher Nolan’s Inception.

Zimmer has scored for Gladiator, Man of Steel, The Da Vinci Code, X-Men Dark Phoenix and more, and the prospect of hearing his take on the Bond adventure, and the instantly recognisable Bond theme is exciting.

On the official James Bond twitter account @007 Director Cary Joji Fukunaga said:

“I’m beyond excited that Hans is scoring . The music of Bond has always been iconic and I’ve already witnessed Hans adding his touch of genius to the Bond legacy.”

Today, following teases from the singer herself (and original reporting by, Billie Eilish has been able to reveal that she and her brother have already written and recorded the main theme. Eilish, one of the worlds newest alternative pop stars has a legion of fans worldwide with songs such as Listen Before I Go, Ocean Eyes and the striking song and video for Bad Guy, is at 18 years old the youngest ever artist to record a Bond theme.

Eilish teased her song today by posting images of famous Bond ladies from various films on her Instagram page:

“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”

Both musicians will no doubt bring their own fans to the James Bond franchise – and should ensure that Daniel Craig’s last outing as Bond will sound fantastic.
