‘Black Adam’ Finds It’s Doctor Fate In Former Bond Star Pierce Brosnan

Black Adam has added the final member of its Justice Society in former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan who has been cast as Doctor Fate.

Brosnan will star opposite Dwayne Johnson who plays the titular role. They are joined by Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher and, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.

Jaume Collet-Serra (The Commuter) will direct Black Adam, from a script by Adam Sztykiel (RampageDue Date).

Johnson confirmed Brosnan’s casting on Twitter:

 

Created by was created by Gardner Fox and Howard Sherman in the ’40s. Kent Nelson is Doctor Fate, a powerful sorcerer and agent for the Lords of Order who fights evil alongside his wife Inza. His amulet, cloak and helmet are creations of the ancient Nabu who acts as his mentor and spiritual guide. He is a founding member of the Justice Society of America.
