Alfred Molina Confirmed To Return As Doctor Octopus In ‘Spider-Man 3’

Alfred Molina is officially returning as Doctor Octopus in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 3.

Last month our friends at GWW reported they’d heard Molina was reprising the role, now THR have corroborated their report and confirmed the actors return.

Molina played Doctor Otto Octavius in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2 in 2004 alongside Tobey Maguire’s Spidey. His return is yet another suprise for fans with Jamie Foxx’s return as Electro as seen in Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 also returning.

There’s something crazy brewing over at Marvel and it’s getting us fans excited. Especially with rumours that both Maguire and Garfield may return as their versions of Spider-Man and team up with Holland’s.

Nothing seems impossible anymore with the next Spidey installment. Could we possibly see more characters return from previous films?
