Despite Coronavirus delaying the release of A Quiet Place II, Paramount is moving ahead with a third film in the franchise.
Deadline reports Jeff Nichols (Midnight Special) will write and direct the next chapter based on an original idea by John Krasinski.
No plot details have been revealed, which makes sense seeing as most of the world hasn’t seen the second film yet, which for the time being is scheduled to release April 23, 2021 (watch this space).
They could obviously continue the story of the Abbott family as they navigate their way around the creature filled US. Or open it up to new characters to take the franchise forward. I’m not sure which I’d prefer more, either way I’m excited we’re getting another Quiet Place.
